I’m far from alone in admiring the amazing Frida Kahlo – her originality, boldness, sensitivity, suffering, contradictions, and  insistence on defining herself. In 2016, I painted 16 versions  of her, trying to capture some of the faces she showed to the world. All these paintings were sold and are now in private collections – a tribute to the power of Frida.
