Created during the surreal months of COVID lockdown, this series glorifies simple moments, suddenly out of reach. I used a metallic acrylic base to give these works a sense of  preciousness as well as distance and unattainability. The soft, pastel colours are intended to lend a dreamlike quality; some paintings are in fact extremely pale and ghost-like.
